Frequently asked
Questions, answered plainly.
What the two plans cost, who owns the site afterwards, how long a build takes, and what happens once you book the call. ForgeWeb Studio is one person, working remotely with small businesses anywhere. If something isn’t here, ask on the call.
What does ForgeWeb Studio do?
ForgeWeb Studio is a one-person web design and development studio based in Texas, working remotely with clients anywhere. The founder designs and hand-codes each site personally, so there are no account managers and no hand-off between a design team and a development team.
What pricing plans do you offer?
Two plans, both published in full on the pricing page:
- Starter Buyout Plan: From $1,800 as a one-time payment. Full ownership of the site and its source code transfers on final payment, with no ongoing fees.
- Low-Upfront Plan: $650 down and $167 a month, covering hosting, maintenance and minor updates. The code is licensed to you while the plan runs, and you can buy out to full ownership at any time.
Those starting figures cover a typical small-business build. The exact number for your project is scoped on the free consultation call, since a five-page site with a booking flow is not the same amount of work as a single landing page.
Do I own my website?
Under the Starter Buyout Plan, you own the site outright once the final payment is made. Under the Low-Upfront Plan, ForgeWeb retains a license until you either complete the monthly term or convert to a buyout — full details are provided in your project contract.
What's included in a project?
A typical project includes a custom-designed, responsively built site of up to 5 pages, two rounds of revisions, and hands-on assistance getting your site hosted and live. Every project also starts with a free live consultation call to scope your specific needs before any work begins.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. Every project starts with a free live consultation call — no pitch deck, no obligation. This is a chance to talk through your goals directly with the person who will actually build your site.
How long does a project take?
Most projects take a minimum of 1–2 weeks from contract signing, though the exact timeline depends on project scope and current workload. Your consultation call is a good time to ask about current availability and a more specific estimate for your project.
What if I need revisions after the site is delivered?
Every project includes two rounds of revisions at no extra cost, as long as those revisions are reasonable updates rather than a substantial redesign. Beyond the first two rounds, additional revision rounds are billed at a flat $100 each. Requests that amount to major changes — new pages, restructured navigation, or a substantial redesign — are scoped and quoted separately rather than treated as a standard revision round.
How do I get started?
Book a free consultation call through the “Book a Call” button on the site. After the call, you’ll receive a personalized proposal outlining scope and pricing. Once approved, a contract and deposit invoice follow, and work begins.
What technology do you build with?
Every site is built on modern, fast, and secure web technology, chosen to fit the specific needs of your project rather than a one-size-fits-all template.
